About  Markus

Markus was born in Germany but grew up in Denmark thus became a Danish citizen. 

At the age of 16 he moved back to Germany and began his trainee years at the Holsteiner Verband (Society) north of Hamburg and became a fully qualified Bereiter in 1995 and later worked with some top legends such as Heike Kemmer and the late George Theodorescu.

His road eveventully took him to England where he has been an established coach for the last 25 years.

He has competed succesfully up to Grand Prix level and many of his pupils have later become proffesionals and internatiional riders themselves.
